Goals and Purpose:  To welcome new members into the Catholic Church through Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation
Responsibilities: Participate in weekly sessions with the Catechumens/Candidates; Serve as sponsors if necessary 
Helpful Attributes: Solid understanding of the Catholic faith
Time Commitment: 1 hour meetings every Sunday after the 9AM Mass
Training Required:  Catechist, Ministry Formation or equivalent
Background Check: Yes, if working with children; No, if working with adults
