Fr. Godwin grew up and in so much need for repairs
(Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria)

Fr. Godwin said this parish was started 100 years ago, and people used to walk for miles to attend Sunday Mass in an open field…

Our Sisterhood Story:
In 2014, during a mission trip by Fr. Godwin and the ImaBridge team, St. Pat’s took pity of the state in which the church was and made a commitment to help the St. Thomas building project.  In 2015, our parish Pastoral and Finance Councils voted “YES” to the parish sisterhood and agreed to offer financial assistance with an annual stipend in exchange for a description and photographs of how the funds were utilized in the renovation project.

As shown to the right, St. Thomas was simply a structure of walls and a roof.  The church was in need of windows, doors and paint.
